Programme and enrolment


A timetable will be given to students at the beginning of the course.

A typical day (8:30 am-10:30 pm)

  • 8:30 am: breakfast
  • 9:00 am: visual arts
  • 12:30 pm: lunch followed by free time
  • 16:00 pm: visual arts
  • 7:30 pm: dinner
  • 9:00 pm: visual arts or international activities

Pleae note: during the welcome barbecue on Sunday evening, the students in the theatre workshop will be introduced to the international youngsters completing a French linguistic course with whom they'll be able to mix with during activities in a multicultural context.
One afternoon (2:00 pm-6:00 pm) will be devoted to a cultural or sports outing of their choice, together with the international youngsters and under the supervision of the Centre's staff.


Reception Conditions

We provide a caring service ensuring all students are met on their arrival at Nice airport or Monaco station and subsequently dropped off on their departure.
On their arrival at the centre, the students are greeted at the reception for check-in in order to hand over documents, a part of their pocket money, their room key, the rules and regulations for the centre. They are then allowed to settle into their rooms and they are invited to go on a tour of the centre with a member of staff.

The rooms are ensuite and have between 3 to 5 beds and wardrobe space (towels not supplied).
The self-service cafeteria provides generous and well balanced meals.


First Aid is on hand at reception where members of staff in possession of their First Aid Certificate (AFPS) take care of all minor injuries under supervision by the management at the CMEF. In cases of illness or more serious injury, a doctor of Monaco would be called in to intervene. The nearest hospital is only 1 kilometre away situated in Monaco.

Nota Bene: The medical form which you receive on enrolment must be carefully completed and returned to the centre before your child's stay.

The Centre is a secure area, in 3 hectares of nature; access is supervised 24 hours a day. Students can move around freely and safely.
For the protection of young minors (health and safety and risk of fire) smoking is strictly forbidden in schools in accordance with French law. This visit is authorized by the Youth and Sports Ministry.


2016 prices and enrolment

  • 536 euros all inclusive, excluding travel: deposit of 258 euros - balance of 278 euros.
  • Arrival at the Centre Méditerranéen before 5:00 pm Sunday 7th August, 2016
  • Course begins Monday, 8th August at 9:30 am
  • Work exhibited Friday, 12th August
  • Students departure after breakfast on Saturday, 13th August, 2016

Enrollment: maximum of 15 students
French level: minimum A2

Print, fill in and sign the downloadable enrolment form and send it to us, along with an insurance certificate and a deposit check of 258 euros payable to the Centre Méditerranéen d'Etudes Françaises.

Upon receipt of your (complete) application, we will confirm by email your child's enrolment and will also include practical information regarding arrival at the Centre and the running of the course.
